Green Berry Baker

Green Berry Baker was born October 03, 1853 in Gonzales County, Texas. He married Joan Lorena Arrington October 16, 1878.

G. Baker ran a merchandise store at Ft. McKavett, Texas and was a mason.

G. Baker suffered a stroke and died March 12, 1923. He was buried in the Ft. McKavett cemetery.

Children of G. Baker and Joan Arrington were:

1. John G. Baker, born abt 1872

2. Mary W. Baker, born abt 1875

3. Julia Delta Baker, born abt 1885; married James Abram Champie. Delta died October 1915.
Children of Delta Baker and James Champie were: Martin, Mary, Lorana, Edith, and James.

4. Caleb Booker Baker, born September 9, 1886

5. Robert H. Baker, born abt 1889

6. Lewis Richard Baker, b. January 02, 1896, Menard County, Texas. Lewis was also known as "L. R." or "Dick". He married Maude O. Stockton October 10, 1897. Lewis died March 1981 and is buried in the Ft. McKavett Cemetery.
