Erskin & Bevans SaloonAmong the first saloons in Menardville was a saloon run by John Scott. John Erskin and Wm. Bevans were the owners of the Erskin & Bevans saloon which was first located on the spot now occupied by Adolph Beyer's Blacksmith shop, but later moved to the corner location where The Bevans State Bank now stands.
