Menard County Texas

Church of Christ

In 1917, Johnathan Keeney, A. H. Conner, S. A. Clark and several women organized the Church of Christ. The group held services in the court house and in different places in town. They also reportedly moved into a building on main street, but in 1920, the congregation built a permanent church west of the grammar school.

In 1936, their membership increased to about 200 members.

Due to the increasing amount of "spam" I'm receiving from email "harvesters", I only publish my email link in jpg form. I am sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you...but I'm really tired of the "advertising trash" that is filling up my email box..
