Menard County Texas

Courthouse Entrance

NOTE: Technically, the above picture shows the MAIN facade of the courthouse or it's ENTRANCE, though very few people use it since most people enter the courthouse from the "back" where the parking lot is.

I love these doors and the etching on the glass

Pictured above: Glass etching in the "main door" as seen from inside. This was taken in what you might call the the foyer .... (there are double doors from the outside leading into the main lobby.)

"Menard County Courthouse" carved into stone work and design at top of pillars above main doors

More designs in the stonework

Until I started taking pictures for the website, I never noticed all the designs on the outside of the building.

Have a Question or Comment About My Web Site?

Due to the increasing amount of "spam" I'm receiving from email "harvesters", I only publish my email link in jpg form. I am sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you...but I'm really tired of the "advertising trash" that is filling up my email box..
