HALE-BYRD
Saturday evening, Judge Scruggs, performed the wedding ceremony for Duff Hale and Miss Bessie Byrd. The young couple is well known and liked in this community and carry the good wishes of all with them into the new life which they have just entered.

HAMBY-SINCLAIR
General Hamby sprung a big surprise on his many friends and parents on Saturday December 26th, by returning from Junction with one of Kimble county's most popular young ladies safely tied to him by the bonds of holy matrimony. Everybody is congratulating General but "Dad" can't see for the life of him whatever got into the young lady to use such awful judgment. At any rate they are happy and the Messenger joins their friends both here and in Junction in extending congratulations.

CALLAN-DARTER
On Tuesday at high noon occurred the wedding of Russell Callan of this city to Miss Catherine Darter of Fort Worth, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darter of that city. A number of the relatives of groom from this city were present at the ceremony. The Messenger extends congratulations to the happy pair.

A marriage license was granted by county clerk Benchoff, Tuesday, to E. J. Stevens and Miss Birdie Easterwood both of Concho county.
