Menard County Mail List

One of the best ways to connect with other Menard County researchers...(and hopefully find someone researching your family)....is to join the Menard County, Texas Mailing list.  When you send a message,  it goes to everyone subscribed to the list.

There are two ways to subscribe:  "L" and "D" (for digest).

When you subscribe to "L" mode, you will receive each Menard message separately as they are posted.

The "D" or Digest mode means you will receive all Menard postings in ONE email.

Directions for Mailing List

NOTE: If your browser doesn't understand the above shortcut links, try these manual instructions:

To join TXMENARD-L, send an email to: TXMENARD-L-request@rootsweb.com with the single word subscribe in the message subject and body.

To join TXMENARD-D, do the same thing with TXMENARD-D-request@rootsweb.com.

You will receive a confirmation from Rootsweb if you have subscribed successfully.  At that time, you will be ready to post your own queries or family information.  To do so, you will address your email to:

TXMENARD-L@rootsweb.com

Unsubscribing.    Ready to get off the mailing list?  Here's how:

NOTE: If your browser will not read the above short cuts, follow these directions manually:

To leave TXMENARD-L, send mail to TXMENARD-L-request@rootsweb.com with the single word unsubscribe in the message subject and body.

To leave TXMENARD-D, do the same thing with TXMENARD-D-request@rootsweb.com.

  • Archives. You can search the archives for a specific message or browse them, going from one message to another. Some list archives are not available; if there is a link here to an archive but the link doesn't work, it probably just means that no messages have been posted to that list yet.

For questions about this list, contact the list administrator at TXMENARD-admin@rootsweb.com.

NOTE:  While I strive for accuracy in all transcriptions, please be advised that typing errors may be present.  I would suggest you always verify my online information with a copy of the actual record.

Have a Question or Comment About My Web Site?

Due to the increasing amount of "spam" I'm receiving from email "harvesters", I only publish my email link in jpg form. I am sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you...but I'm really tired of the "advertising trash" that is filling up my email box..
