Ordering Copies of Confederate Pension Files
To order copies of Confederate Pension files submit an electronic request for a photocopy of the pension information, send an e-mail message to archinfo@tsl.state.tx.us.
Be sure to include:
- The Person's Name
- The Person's Pension Number
- Your Complete Mailing Address
Please note: Requests for copies of Confederate Pension Applications may take as long as 4 to 6 weeks for processing.
A copy of the pension file will be mailed to you, along with an invoice. The cost is $.10 per page, plus shipping and handling. There is a $1.00 minimum for this service.
Requests for the pension application file may also be mailed to the Texas State Archives at P.O. Box 12927, Austin, TX 78711-2927.
The patriotic pictures are "linkware" found at Doc's Military & Patriotic Graphics, except for the eagle and flag/cross, which was found at Alaska Joes.
