RANGERS ARE TO GET PENSION
Texas rangers who were employed by the State against the Indians during the perilous times from 66 to 77 have received word that Congress has passed a bill granting them a twenty dollar a month pension for the rest of their lives and the widows are to get ten dollars. Captain Bell, W. W. Lewis, Dick Russel and Mrs. Sieker are among those who will be entitled to this pension from the government.
