"Lynch" or "Cowboy" Cemetery

Albany, Shackelford County, Texas

This is a cemetery located in Shackelford County, Texas near the ruins of the old Judge John C. and Fannie Gunsolus-Lynch house. It was a final resting place of Gunsolus and Lynch family members along with many of the ranch cowboys.

I was told by one Shackelford County resident that this cemetery is also known as the "Cowboy" cemetery.......though another said that this is historically/presently incorrect. As such, I will just call it the Lynch Cemetery since that's what my family members call it.
